The only green aperitif that is distilled entirely from anise seeds. The recipe for the Pontarlier Anis a L’ancienne was developed in 1921 in order to replace absinthe, after it was banned. Enjoy this aperitif diluted with chilled water in order to release its unmistakable aroma. Pontarlier Anis à l’Ancienne received a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole (CGA) 2017 in Paris.
