This oak cask matured Islay single malt was laid down at the Caol Ila distillery in 1977 and bottled approximately 16 years later in 1993. Bottled for the decorative ‘The Sails in the Wind’ series and imported for the Italian market by Moon Import – a top class importer of fine Scotch whisky, with a lot of their best work coming through their 1980’s and 1990’s limited releases. This excellent vintage was drawn from Hogshead numbers 4659 & 4660 and comes in fine condition with original presentation carton.
