Caol Ila is a scotch whisky distilled at Caol Ila distillery on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. Caol Ila is a “Signatory Vintage” bottling, meaning that it is one of the whiskies that is approved by the Royal Warrant of Queen Elizabeth II. The whisky has a “complex maltiness, a warm toffee and raisin-filled centre and hints of briny, sweet sea air.”
