A very expressive and crunchy nose made up of ripe fruit, blackcurrant, prunes. Elegance and suppleness characterize the palate with a frank attack that melts into a round of aromas of jam, pepper and spices.
Producer Information
It all started more than 30 years ago in the Cucugnan valley, a rendezvous on this atypical land with a Mediterranean climate at altitude, with a slight Atlantic influence. From this meeting will be born the grandiose project of a wine estate nourished by the breathtaking landscapes of the valley. The magic of the Corbières had therefore operated between Peter Sichel and this magnificent terroir… Then followed a succession of domain names “Le Révérend”, “Domaine du Trillol”, then came “Château Trillol” with around forty hectares of vines and different grape varieties such as Roussanne, Syrah or even the Carignan. Established know-how, conquered people, a terroir that is still just as magnificent, but one ingredient is missing: Exception.
