Guado al Tasso has been produced since 1990. 2019 began with cool temperatures in April and May which slowed down the development of the vineyard. This delay is made up for thanks to the warm, dry conditions throughout the summer season, which enabled the grapes to reach an optimal ripeness. The colour is an intense ruby red. Rich, the nose reveals delicious fragrances of tobacco, liquorice and plum with hints of balsamic and coffee. Precise, the palate is seduced by this wine’s aromatic purity, its fine tannins and its persistent finish.
