The Pommard Clone is a darker, more brooding example of Pinot Noir. You will find cherry, forest floor, floral, and even slightly smokey notes on the nose. The palate delivers a nice structure with cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, and dried herb flavors.

- Wine Enthusiast: There are aromas of warm, oaky spice, dark plum and anise on the nose of this bottling, but the seashore-like accents are most intriguing, including nori wrap and charred driftwood. Baked plum and mulberry flavors pair with that smoky wood flavor on the palate.
- Decanter: Rich, full and ripe, very silky tannins and grippy acidity. Dark cherry and strawberry confiture, bacon and sundried tomato.

Established in 1989, the Fess Parker Winery has a long history in Santa Barbara Wine Country and is well known for its small-lot, hand harvested, vineyard-designated, and clonal selection Rhône and Burgundian varietals.
