Expect an intense nose of melon, apples, and floral notes. The palate is full and lively with flavours of nectarines, yellow apples, flowers and citrus fruit, balanced by refreshing acidity and a long finish.
Producer Information
The history of the Vigne Marina Coppi company is inextricably intertwined with that of a small town in the Alessandria area, Castellania, where a man who embodies the myth of Italian cycling, Fausto Coppi, was born in 1919. Right here the nephew of the great Fausto, Francesco Bellocchio, decided, in 2003, to give life to a small winery, developed on an area of 4.5 hectares, run with passion and technique, also thanks to the advice of one of the most important Italian oenologists, Gianfranco Cordero. Timorasso, barbera, favorita, nebbiolo and croatina are produced: historic grapes that express a great attachment to tradition, but which are processed according to modern cultivation techniques combined with the primary desire to respect the surrounding natural system, without using herbicides and chemical fertilizers.
