Booker’s Bourbon Batch 2014-05 — the fifth batch of 2014, Kentucky straight bourbon uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof from center-cut rickhouse barrels aged 7 years, 5 months. At 127.9 proof, one of the higher-proof releases in the 2014 batch series.
Batch 2014-05 predates the naming system Booker’s introduced in 2016. The 2014 releases are now over a decade from original bottling. The Jim Beam mashbill (75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley) at barrel proof and 7+ years of center-cut rickhouse aging produces the program’s characteristic rich, oily, concentrated character. Comes in the signature Booker’s wooden presentation box.
