    Producer Information

Regusci Winery is a family-owned wine producer based in the Stags Leap District of California’s Napa Valley. The estate was founded by the Regusci family and is particularly known for its red wines based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Gaetano Regusci purchased the 19th Century property, now known as Regusci Ranch, in 1932. He dedicated the land to agriculture, setting aside a small area for the production of homemade wine. It wasn’t until the estate passed to his son Angelo Regusci in the 1960s that focus turned to the cultivation of Bordeaux red grape varieties, leading to the establishment of Regusci Winery by Angelo’s son, Jim Regusci, in the late 1990s. Today, the estate has 65 hectares (160 acres) of vineyards, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Chardonnay. The property uses sustainable farming methods, including the recycling of winery waste and composting. The Regusci Winery range is dominated by its Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines, with the estate producing several varietal Cabernet Sauvignon wines, including The Elders and Block 3, and a Cabernet Sauvignon-predominant blend, Patriarch. The pinnacle of the estate’s portfolio is its Angelo’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which spends approximately 22 months in American oak barrels before bottling and release.
